EuropeanUniversityNetwork
A non-profit association fostering scientific and professional exchanges in the field of psychoanalysis in Europe.
About RUE
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the establishment of the RUE Association (European University Network), initiated by Jacques-Alain Miller and the Department of Psychoanalysis at the University of Paris 8. This non-profit association aims to create a network in Europe of university teachers and researchers with an interest in psychoanalysis as a discipline. The network aims to promote scientific and professional exchanges among its members (thesis defenses, conference invitations, joint publications, debates). This network will collaborate with its counterpart in Latin America, RUA.
In our contemporary world, the discourse of the university increasingly aligns with that of science, often sidelining the speaking body.
The RUE - European University Network - is a response aimed at supporting the reference to psychoanalysis in the university setting by:
- Supporting international exchanges,
- Facilitating awareness of research conducted in other universities,
- Uniting academics - both teachers and students - interested in promoting the dimension of the speaking being and its implications within the university.
